Dear Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Stephanie Devanathan, a 54-year-old woman currently residing in Riet River, Ottawa, Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal. I am writing to respectfully request permission to lease vacant government land in this area to improve my living conditions.
At present, I am renting a small tin house in Riet River, which lacks basic amenities such as toilet facilities and electricity. This situation has made daily living extremely challenging, and I am seeking an opportunity to secure a more stable and dignified living environment for myself. Leasing vacant government land in this area would enable me to work towards building a proper home with essential services, ensuring a better quality of life.
I kindly request your assistance and guidance on the process to apply for and lease the land. I am willing to comply with all necessary regulations, requirements, and payments as stipulated by the government or relevant authorities. If there are specific forms or documents needed to formalize this request, I would be grateful if you could provide me with the details or direct me to the appropriate department or office.
I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing my request. I am hopeful that with your support, I can improve my living conditions and contribute positively to the community. Please feel free to contact me for any further information or clarification.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance. I look forward to your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
Stephanie Devanathan
