URGENT assistance required with UIF claim

Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,

Good day,

After trying to follow up by contacting the UIF call centre and sending emails, i still have not received a response. My unemployment claim was submitted in February this year. i have done everything which was requested from me. My claim was APPROVED on 4th June 2021. i followed the steps given to me by the UIF and then my claim was cancelled that very day. i called numerous times, everytime i am told by an agent that someone will be in contact with me. I never receive any communication from them.
As a client of the UIF fund, who has been paying UIF for many years, i would like to lodge a formal complaint as to how i am being treated. I was put on hold for 1hr 30mins on Monday by an agent until the call eventually cut.
I have been unemployed since September 2020 and am in desparate need of my funds... it should be accessible at this time of need right?
I just would appreciate some assistance, communication from someone in a more
senior position, whom i could communicate with over my issue.
It has been 5 months since my initial request was logged. Please, may i have some assistance in getting my issue resolved.
