Dear Portfolio Committee on Social Development,

I would like to draw the committee's attention to the fact that almost all recipients use their grants towards the payment of funeral schemes e.g. policies,burial homes etc.

These policies have due dates of payment.The minister needs to force these institutions not to penalise pensioners for late payment of premiums as she keeps changing payment dates.
