Dear Portfolio Committee on Social Development,

I would like to raise a concern regarding the selection process that made by the system of Sassa grant application.
I have now became unemployed for period of three years and since last year I have been rejected by sassa and my application status says declined reason states that I receive an alternative income of which I am unemployed not working still looking for a job.

Can this matter be resolved because it is unfair for some of us not receiving social destress grant while others do.
