Dear Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans, I am Painfully Aggrieved by the way Military Veterans are Treated.

Because I have been Injured I receive R4 300 pm and because I am Older than 60 I also get R2 100 from SASSA.

But in terms of the New Regulations, those are Deducted, leaving me with No Military Veterans Pension or Service Pension for 15 Years of Service at All.

I also can't access Compensation for my Injuries, Housing or Medical Aid in terms of the Military Veterans Act, while I still have 4 Minor Children to take care of.

Can you please arrange for these Deductions to be Reversed with Backpay until Freedom Day 2023 Immediately?

I am also Denied Access to the Special Pensions Act, since I served in the Permanent Force of the SADF.

I was Unfairly Summarily Dismissed for Laziness in 1980 due to my Birth Anomalies in my Lower Vertebrae which was Confirmed by the Orthopaedic Surgeon report during June 2025, paid for and Commissioned by the GPAA.

I am Denied Access to that Also since I served in the SADF, and missed the Closing Date of 2010 for the Special Pensions Act, even though my service was Rendered in 1979-1994.

I truly feel I should have been integrated into the Special Pensions Act, since I served in the Public Interest by Protecting the Borders so Roads Hospitals and Universities could be built.

We also Served the New Democratic South Africa by Training the First Black Soldiers.

I was also between 30 and 35 years old in December 1996.

I couldn't Provide for a Decent Pension, since I am also Denied Access to the GEP Law and Membership of the GEPF.

Even my Contributions just Disappeared.

For 15 Years I was Detained in Military Camps in terms of legislation. If I wanted to go Anywhere without a Pas I would have been Arrested in terms of Legislation.

Since the age of 16 my whole life was Ripped Away and that only Stopped in 1994 at the age of 32, When I was rendered Jobless and Qualificationless, having to Navigate through Life with a Broken Back and No Experience about Anything at All but War.

I request Parliament to grant me the Diplomatic Special Pensions Act Benefits and in terms of Sect 14 also Access to the Military and Social Pensions.

The Dept of Military Veterans and the GPAA just Randomly Nillifies Pensions, since they just Prockaim Regulations, and thereby Actually Alters the Benefits of the Act in Stead of Regulating the Benefits.

Without even Telling Parliament about it, since those Regulations were never agreed to by Parliament.

Because I am Injured and Old I am not Entitled to the Military Veterans Service Pension for my 15 Years of Service?

Uninjured Below 60 Veterans get the Full Military Veterans Service Pension?
