Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,
Dear sir / madame
I write this letter in regards to the high unemployment rate in our town as well as in the land. I stay in a small town De Aar in the northern cape.So many time when asking about work at different departments your get the answer that there is no money to employ people. I would appreciate it if someone can explain something to me. Government get most of it's monies from taxpayers most taxpayers come from your government employees. So my reasoning is the more government employees you have the more your revenue will be of which government can create each year more work.
Another suggestion is if there can be also consistent employment like in the past for two years or later permanent military work . Especially for the ones finish with school matric and that don't have any plans of further study because they don't qualify or they don't have money to go and study.
Last but not least can they maybe thinking of decreases the years on which a person must go on pension. Or give you and option you can go on pension at 55yrs if you feel like going on you can finish at 60yrs if there is a need for you to continue.. Most people don't even lived long enough to enjoy their pension and in that case it can also help creating jobs in a time where jobs is so scares.if people go on pension immediately it creates a empty space to be filled.
Yours sincerely
Thank you
Jerome
