Hi i have applied for a UIF retrenchment benefit on the 06 October 2020 and since tthen have called numerous times and always get told to wait it is in process and i will be contacted or emailed currently i have submitted all documents a number of times
over the last two weeks i called and was told my claim was approved but need to submit 3 months bank statements and i must wait for mail to attach this documents within the day i called which i did not receive and had to call again the next day and still the two calls to department did not get me the second mail as suggested by clerk
i had to call again the monday to say no mail received and after 30 minutes get cut off had to call again to say wait for mail but i suggested i send my own mail with the reference number and that was done but once again had to call numerous times and send it 4 times to be told they cannot find it and had to then say could be mail size and sent a smalll file in 3 mails with message use id number to open it and again sent twice and waited another 3 days and called back as informed by clerk to wait a few days and call to see it has been processed and still he could not find it and made a note on my profile again and then says me to wait and not call until they process it and cannot give me a time period for me to wait for this to be done
I had to email him and he sent the mails forward and still no response

How long should i wait and how does this deparment expect me to survive as already i am forced in a corner to sell my stuff that i can in order to pay bills and live

I can give a lot more details on how i am struggling with this claim and every time i had to call and a different request was given to me or told to wait 7 to 14 days before i can call or query the process they refuse to give me a manager or superior to speak to
