UIF CASE A YEAR LATER AND STILL NO PAYMENT

Dear Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development,

I don't even know where to start I have submitted my uif claim online last year the 07-12-2021 then my account was blocked I then to the labour department in Mitchell's plain whereby I got an approval for a payment date which was on the 10-02-2022 and to date I have not received any payment I have been going to them every week and calling in numerous times but no one can give me a proper answer the call centre also refuses to allow a client to speak to a team member or manager etc the labour department lets people stand outside for hours then half of doesn't even get helped and is told every time to come back I'm not working I don't have travelling fare to go up and down just to get there and to be told to come back again I'm so tired of this standing at labour law from 5 in the morning until 4 it's so dangerous there and dark in the morning I have been calling the call centre to unblock my account and the matter has been escalated since last year it's nearly a year I want my money I'm not working I have kids and a family to see to why am I waiting this long when all my paper work was in order and approved but still pending for nearly a year the sstaff is so unprofessional and rude can't do there jobs why are these people in these positions of they can't even help when you call in but also don't wanna get the manager to assist either it's like my money is missing now I'm getting all kinds of excuses I have a trail of emails even Karen Fuller the head of Mitchell's plain department does not reply to my mails nor the department no one I need answers
