Dear Select Committee on Trade and Industry, Economic Development, Small Business Development, Tourism, Employment and Labour,

I am writing to you with utmost concern about the services given from the UIF claims department.
I have submitted a claim for my Unemployement benefits in January 2023. Till date I have not received any monies owed to me. Each time I call in the call centre they advise that they would make a follow up, if not it's then documents needed which I submitted like 5 times already but it's the same excuse given each time.
I am unemployed for over a year now and have not received a cent from UIF.
I have seen numerous complaints from other citizens going through the same thing.
No matter how many times we call in,send complaints,email every relevant person they push it under the carpet and it's frustrating because it's our hard earned money that all we want is to be paid out.
Please advise how I can receive my money from the uif department. Thank you.
