Dear Portfolio Committee on Police,

I am a mother aged 58 now the then School Principal and Deputy Principal respectively and currently the Accreditation Coordinator at one of the North West TVET Colleges and I have since lost my daughter who went missing in 2001,14 July while she was at that time 5 and half years old and doing Grade 1 in Klerksdorp Primary School and even to date no trace, no lead of my Daughter. It was on Saturday and in July and the schools were to be reopened the following week from the Saturday my Daughter Lebo Molebogeng Senna went missing. I was just discharged from Anncron Hospital the Friday and was strictly under bed rest restrictions by the Doctor as I was hospitalized
on the 9 July 2001 for being severely weak as I was picked by the Ambulance in town from the restaurant were I went to for relaxation after feeling weak on the FNB Queue. On Tuesday when my daughter and his brother came to see me at the hospital I could see that my daughter was uncomfortable without me at home as she was not used staying without me and I asked the Doctor to admit her with me so that she can be comfortable seeing me always and unfortunately according to the Doctor it would be possible if she was under 5 years old but then I insisted that I be discharged so that I can be with her though the nanny was at home but she was missing me.
was the discharged on Friday the 13th July 2001 and my daughter on 14 July afternoon went missing while the Nanny by the name of Basadi Modise from Tigane Township from Hartebeesfontein in the North west went with her to the nearby shops in La Hoff surburb 100-200m away from my house while I was fast asleep from medication that was meant to relax me. The investigations into the case were questionable in my point of view as the nanny could not be interrogated to such degree that she would come up with the truth as she was the one who took my daughter out of the premises9My house without telling me even though she claimed that when they left for the shop I was fast asleep and she did not want to bother me as she knew that I was ill. Strangely my point of questioning the investigations is that when I asked the police why are they not hard on her they said she was sticking to one statement and not changing her statement that's why.
I then told them that I cannot stay with that woman under the same roof whereas my daughter is not there ,rather let her go back to her place and whenever they need to question her they will go to her place in Tigane because I felt that she was supposed to tell all of us why she first of all took my daughter out and why was she not worried about her return back until I woke up and asked for my daughter if she let her go and play with her friends and she claimed.
It was only when I asked where Lebo was that she told me that Lebo went to play with her friends and when I left home in that condition I was to go and get my daughter from her friend's house as reported by her ,she then followed me.
I really question the investigative effectiveness at that time and would like this case to be reinvestigated with all efforts though the Nanny has been reported to have passed away in 2001 but SAPS officials need to answer to the investigative ineffectiveness.
I was as the Complainant subjected to the Poligraph testing and sweared at by the White Police officials who said I failed the test and handcuffed me and kept me at the SAPS Station from 8:45am till 21:45pm.
I was taken by the white SAPS Officials to the Multi Care Hospital where they subjected me to Hypnotization without any prior arrangement nor consent, claiming that they wanted to help me and the bill was fed by my Medical Aid not SAPS
On the other hand this that I was subjected to the Nanny was not subjected to. The father of my missing Daughter Mr Molelekwa Basie James Senokwanyane who at the time was paying the maintenance of R300 ordered by the Klerksdorp Maintenance Court and was not happy about this move was not exposed to poligraph testing and hypnotization as I was and I have given the SAPS officials the letter that he once wrote to me in 1996 that even though he tried to discuss with me the issue of helping me in the in taking care of our Daughter I decided to go the Court route and one day Lebo will ask me Questions I will never be able to answer.
I mean according to me the Nanny and my daughter's father had questions to answer and should SAPS had focused on the two people I could have been re-united with my daughter.

So they waisted investigative time on inflicting much more pain on me than on the problem itself.

I really need probe into this matter as I am living with unanswered Questions and I need the State to assist me re investigating this matter so that we can go dip into the matter. My daughter's father never came down to assist lookingg for our daughter as he at that time was transferred from POTCHEFSTROOM Boskop Training Centre to Paarl Boskop Training Center and to date he even does not want to talk about it as he says it pains him because he read from the newspapers that I suspected him.
