Dear Standing Committee on Finance, with the recent changes & the comment by the minister that the TFSA time to accumulate the life time allowance is because of the interest exemption. This creates significant administration in the financial services industry. My suggestion is do away with the interest exemption & allow an immediate lumpsum up to the life time allowance. Allow any amount as a monthly contribution. I.e. do away with the annual allowance.
