Dear Portfolio Committee on Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment,

After reading this report, it does not include the employees un happiness under this leadership. NUPSAW is currently in a deadlock regarding salary increase for 2025/2026 financial year. NUPSAW has the majority workers in the organization and approach the CCMA to have a strike witch will have a big impact on Aviation aswell as Marine.

Not to share much, as NUPSAW stakeholders in SAWS it is advisable to invite NUPSAW to your next plan disgustions so that you will understand why this committee members continue not trusting feedback from SAWS leadership and it's Board members.

There is serious issues that is not reported to this committee. Just to name one, during cyber attack, the employees , especially in Aviation sector was using its own wifi or data to continue to have the cantle burning. Which employees struggle to reclaim due to receive keeping as proof, but was communicated long after employees went out of their way to keep Aviation and important sectors active.
