Dear Portfolio Committee on Communications and Digital Technologies,
I am not putting this on Social Media, but you should by now recognise that many countries are banning social media for under 16's. We already have a huge disconnect in our education system, but this is another matter. We are creating a nation of rude, lazy youth who scroll on their phones all day. Nursing interns use google to see how to turn patients, schools are inundated with awful pictures circulated by young chldren.

Why is this not a priority for you. Close to schools are awful billboards, many of our children do not get decent food. IN Kwa Dukuza, the only meal would be a sweet for energy. At least we are trying to do something, without some teachers stealing what we provide. Take Action, follow other countries, ban TikTok, limit social media for under 16's.
