Dear Portfolio Committee On Transport,

I am writing with much concern of how mutliple ministers and boards have come and gone at SAMSA without bringing stability to one of most critical positions of the entity.

SAMSA last had a permanent CEO in 2016. It has been 9 years of repeated failure by appoint boards and minister to find and appoint a suitable candidate to lead the entity.

I hope to see the committee invite the soon to be outgoing board of SAMSA to report on Challenges and Progress made in bringing stability to the entity. These reports should atleast be a guiding tool to ensure that the new board makes instant impact in addressing challenges facing the entity.
