Dear Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs,

I write to you Honarable members to request your intervention to Gauteng Provincial Government to Immediately review and reconsider out of pocket expense for ward committees as recommendation in accordance to National Constitution of Republic of South Africa Section 139 (7) as to advocate on behalf of Ward Committees atleast there must be a budget adjustment on their stipends.

As they end up using they're personal finance to assist helping residents in their respective ward as we plea with National to review and consider adjustment in a matter of urgency as it hinders abilities of Ward committees R1000.00 expense as per annum is R4000.00
