Defum Trading is a corporate body which has been awarded a License by Cannabis Regulatory Authority of Malawi, after qualifying to the application process and awarded the License For the activities of cultivation and sell of industrial hemp. But from the look of things we are lacking financial support to revamp the industry for 2025-2026 growing season and upon realizing that working alone we can't achieve the SDGs, we need to work in collaboration with organizations of similar objectives if we want our countries to develop, hence requesting the technical and financial support from you, or you can share our request to the other organizations globally to address our situation by funding our industry. Our industry signals a shift away from reliance on tobacco and once funded will bring employment to many people in the rural communities and become economically viable.
