Dear Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services,

I am in support of the hatred or violence against persons based on race, ethnicity, gender etc
I oppose incitement to harm, hatred or violence against any person or people group for any reason whatsoever.
So I am in support of the broad definition that constitute Hate Crimes

However as a Bible-believing Christain I wish to request exemption for religious institutions in these proposed Bills.
Note that .Preaching and teaching on sexual sin is done in love ..not incitment to do harm. The Bible teaches forgiveness and redemption – never hatred and violence.
These teachings are needed now more than ever.
The Bible is the most powerful force against hatred. I am aware of an orchestrated plan to silence religious speech on sexual sin.

Please honour my request for exemption for religious institutions in these proposed bills.
Thank you for this consideration
