I'm writing to request urgent intervention regarding the budget prioritization for infrastructure upgrades in Ward 75. As a Ward Committee member, I'm deeply concerned about the persistent sewer blockages and inadequate sanitation facilities in our area.

Specifically, I request that the budget be prioritised for:

1. Upgrading the 150mm pipe network of sewers in Unit D and Chris Hani.
2. Upgrading the Unit D and North Pump stations to normalize pressure and alleviate sewer blockages.

The statistics on reported sewer blockages in our area are alarming and necessitate an immediate response. Moreover, the residents of Chris Hani Block G are still using pit toilets, which is unacceptable. Connecting this area to the formal sewer system is essential.

I urge you to treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and allocate the necessary funds to address these critical infrastructure needs.
