Dear Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs,

I am resident in Pretoria, Sunnyside. I respectfully invite your team to come and observe for yourselves the going-ons between the streets of Robert Sobukwe Street, Leyds Street, and Kotze Street and surrounds.

The streets are constantly filled with loitterers of patently indistinguishable African people whom speak no comprehensible official South African language.

I have deep respect for the innate humanity of all peoples. I only ask of you to visit this region and confirm whether it appears as though the groupings of people who are perennially visible in these areas, without any clearly distinguishable trade or business which they are running on these corners - day and night - are actually legally in this country and are running safe and productive businesses in our country.

Please come and see for your self. I would be very happy to discover that these are merely industrious people who have legitimate businesses and are here in the country legally.
