Dear Portfolio Committee on Economic Development,
My small enterprise AVS Business Communications (PTY) LTD is urgently looking for potential funders/ investors or philanthropists for a number of community based income generating projects under the following programs:
1. Building Business / Enterprise Development and Entrepreneurial Support:
Here I already have an information pack on the Pick 'n Pay Market Store/Spaza Conversion Program out of which we can explore the possibility of having a township based Pick 'n Pay Market Store. In Mbekweni we do have one. There's a possibility that we can have one in Khayamandi too.
2. Land and Property :
Developing under-utilized open land; supporting and promoting land development for small scale farming/agripreneurship purposes.
3. Fix your Space:
a) Creating spaces that promote health happiness and wellbeing;
b) Implementing place-making methodology to give communities a sense of place, celebrate local culture and create recognisable beacons of hope;
c) Projects that improve the aesthetics of an area;
d) Building community pride, social cohesion, ownership and can reduce crime; and
e) Creating opportunities for investment by / contributions from local Businesses (on that Clean, Safe Spaces do change the Investment Sentiments).
I have many more in store as I once promised to share them on this group.
Could you please kindly puff and pass within your immediate Social and Economic Networks?
