Dear Portfolio Committee on Police,

You want to take away our privilege to own firearms, our rights to self defense.

The statistics shows that the SAPS is incapable of protecting us in this country. A country with population of 60 million+ with less than 500 thousands police officers... Police officers themselves are being killed by well armed criminals out there and yet you want take our last line of defense? You want to disarm law abiding citizens of this country for criminals? You are failing us as citizens of this country. I find this proposed bill to be irrational and Inconsiderate.

What you should be focusing on at this pointing time is to disarm illigal firearm owners and hiring of police officers to fight crime in this country, period. Disarming legal firearm owners won't be a solution but a win for criminals/thugs out there.

Should this bill be passed into law, history will judge you harshly.
