Dear Portfolio Committee on Police,

Project Plan on Processing DNA Backlog-2020
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Leechelle Kundan, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity at TUT. I am writing to express my interest in assisting your committee with addressing the DNA backlog issue identified in 2020.

As a victim of crime, I have personal insight into the impact of delays in forensic processes. Following a recent incident in which I conducted my own investigation and provided police with critical photographic evidence, I became motivated to leverage my background to propose an innovative solution. While researching, I encountered your document and believe that my expertise could help achieve the objectives set forth by your department.

I would appreciate it if you could provide an appropriate email address or contact point where I can send a detailed proposal outlining my solution. Please note that although I am currently operating as a startup, I have plans to expand my company, which could generate employment opportunities upon the successful implementation of a pilot project that I am proposing.

I am confident that collaboration between private enterprises, government agencies, and dedicated individuals can significantly enhance forensic processing capabilities and serve the people of South Africa more effectively.

Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to the possibility of working together.

Sincerely,

Leechelle Kundan
