Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,
Good Day
I would like to know why the Department of Labour call centre does not answer their phone. We have been calling for 2 weeks on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) and the phone has not been answered once. There is also no communication on the website, Facebook, or Twitter accounts to indicate there are phones issues.
In a time when communication has been made so fluid, it befuddles the mind as to why this particular department, can not answer it's phone, or for that matter reply to emails, messages, etc.
We have experienced similar problems with the Department of Home Affairs. Perhaps it is time for government to take a serious look at their call centre issues.
