Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,
Kindly assist me,with resolving this stagnant matter of death claim that is pending /re-issue since 2020.

November 2019 I lost my husband,2020 September I made a death claim with the department of labour in Ermelo,with multiple follow ups I've made with DOL in Ermelo I was informed that the system is rejecting the payment as it says "wrong surname"which I don't know how,since then is like people are reluctant to help,or they have run of option because there is no solution to the matter.

Hence I don't know what will be outcome of it,mind you I am a widow,a mother of 3 and unemployed,things are getting out of hands,I can't meet all the needs of the children.

My 1st born was doing matric last year,she failed to go to tertiary this year because I could not afford her registration and all the packs that comes with tertiary education, she took a gap year,but with the current situation we are facing,I see her sitting at home again next year.


Please I plead with the entire committee to help me find a solution to this matter ,it has been going on for quite too long now,I'm wondering if I will ever get my late husband money. For the sake
Of my children please help.
