How importantant do health institutions view the patients' charter?
is this on the meeting agenda and discussed at institutional meetings ?
my understanding is that The fundamental underpinnings of the patients' charter is generally to be found in the Batho Pele Principles. With this in mind, I would urge the committee to enforce adherence and constantly remind the various institutions under its watch to drive these 'trust based' principles to give all those who use these facilities the reassurance of delivering services of the highest standard, not just in theory but in practise!!!!
