Dear Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services,

I believe all of you heard of the recent incident that happened in the Vembe District, just outside Louis Trichardt (Limpopo) where a jealous husband who fataly slit throats of his three sons because he suspected that his wife has been cheating on him. About two years ago, the residents of Zebediela also in Limpopo (Lepelle-Nkumpi municipality), have also experience an incident just like this. Many of our sisters are living with ever-painful wounds in their hearts after being raped either at school, or at work or at home, or their neighbourhood, or these days even in the church. I can't mention in the places of entertainments as it is considered to be rules of the game.

The two people who have brutally killed their own children are in the courts and are requesting their human rights to be respected, but they have denied vulnerable and innocent children their rights to live. I dont see a point for the state to continue calling these kind of heartless beings to be called suspects and to continue being given the rights to live. The reason why we have many of these kinds incidents, it is because we careless of our children, our brothers, our sisters, our policemen and women but care much about the Rhino.

In today's life even a dog or a rat cannot be killed in a manner that those children have been killed as you will be told that it (dog or rat) must be treated in a humane way but what about a person.....

The recent public consultations in the country about amending s25 of our constitution shows that if politicians like we can also go back and debate the death penality for these heartless criminals who are killing our children, our policemen and women, etc. Perhaps, politicians cannot initiate this debate because mostly are having body guards and they are staying in the highly secured area, and their children are not using public transport to the schools or the shopping complex...

People who take part in these kinds of activities must not even spent one single day alive after being captured. Remove the snakes from our country.
Please change the constitution. Kill these criminals....
