Dear Portfolio Committee on Higher Education, Science and Technology,
I'm employed at Mthashana TVET College based at Nquthu Campus and living with physical disability (Paraplegic). I have faced what Young, (2000) calls Oppression in a form of Marginalization, Exploitation and Violance since my accident in 2014 till now.
This year (2019) I have been forced by the college principal to work in an unsafe environment, attend a grievence meeting in a building that does not comply. I also have been denied my pay progression for 2015/16. I have reported this to DHET without any success. It's been 5 full years trying to address this issue internally.
These are some oppressions I'm facing just to mension the few
Kindly intervene as i view these actions unethical.
Kind regards
