Dear Portfolio Committee on Land Reform and Rural Development, I want to thank you for always having an ear to listen to communities and doing your best to solve problems.

I'm writing because of the Oppermansgronde Communal Property Association Committee that's evicting descendants month after month. The Oppermansgronde land was claimed by 900+ households however now the OCPA Committee consist currently of only +-35 households. The latter minority rule the land and illegally evict rightful descendants from their land of birth. Maladministration and money for evictions are common to this OCPA. OCPA Members are struggling to put food on the table and are in dire need.

The OCPA Committee has totally lost their purpose of betterment of the community and fell into capitalism. The community can't take this anymore and are in need of vital intervention from the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform

PLEASE HELP OUR COMMUNITY , ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH AND CHILDREN TO HAVE A BETTER FUTURE BY PLACING THIS COMMUNAL PROPERTY ASSOCIATION UNDER ADMINISTRATION.
