Dear Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, I want to thank you for always having an ear to listen to communities and doing your best to solve problems.

I'm writing because of the Oppermansgronde Communal Property Association Committee that's evicting descendants month after month. The Oppermansgronde land was claimed by 900+ households however now the OCPA Committee consist currently of only +-35 households. The latter minority rule the land and illegally evict rightful descendants from their land of birth. Maladministration and money for evictions are common to this OCPA. OCPA Member are struggling to put food on the table and are in dire need.

The OCPA Committee has totally lost their purpose of betterment of the community and fell into capitalism. The community can't take this anymore and are in need of vita intervention from the department of cooperative Government of traditional affairs.

PLEASE HELP OUR COMMUNITY , ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH AND CHILDREN TO HAVE A BETTER FUTURE BY PLACING THIS COMMUNAL PROPERTY ASSOCIATION UNDER ADMINISTRATION.
