Dear Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs,
I am fully against the Immigration Amendment Bill, why? It's been 30 years of democracy in this country and we still live in pure inequality. We've seen first hand, the dangers and the virulence of accepting immigrants to this country. The majority of South Africa is still living in and feeling the aftermath of the Apartheid regime. There is absolutely no way, whatsoever the migrating of Ukrainians to South Africa can ever be beneficial for South Africans, we do not share the same dream, never have and could never start now. The Minister of Home affairs is failing us tremendously, Foreigners come into this country undocumented and gain south african citizenship illegally. Leading to the most horrific crimes, such as human trafficking, organ harvesting, drugs, unconsumable foods, fraud, the list is endless. We don't have enough capacity to take care of South Africans with just basic needs, healthcare facilities are full to the nth degree and deteriorating, packed with foreign nationals. There are places that still don't have access to water and electricity in this day age! I speak for those that don't even have the resources to even write this message. We Reject the Immigration Amendment Bill. The Minister has proven to not have South Africans best interest at heart. We don't trust him, we don't want him and most importantly he doesn't want us. either.
