Dear Portfolio Committee on Sport, Arts and Culture,
i hope this email finds you well and in good health. We as daveyton heritage society we have an organization that wants to help and readdress the imbalance of our past in our community but we are been failed by municipality officials. AT Benoni Museum we forge the relationship with the official by the surname of F.Rambau to work together in readdressing the issues faced by our organization DHS and the community at large.
We had few meeting before to discuss how to work together and we gave Mr Rambau our Program of action in order for him to have further understanding of our mission as DHS. We gave Mr Rambau MOU to sign so we can have better understanding on our partnerships but he doesn't want to sign. The official has made several promises but not even one has manifested.Taking our programs and pretending as if its their own programs and it makes them look as if their are working the eyes of their Bosses(Mayor)
He promised to include our organization in the july /august2024 budget from the MMc so we can have a wayforward and start implementing programs,
We were supposed to have oral history documentation of our location as part of our program it hasn't happend.
The communication is bad ,he doesn't communicates if there's problem or meeting coming up or tell if there's changes
Benoni museum has its own history that have been documented and preserved but we has community of daveyton we don't have musuem and we were hoping with this partnerships it will create new opportunities for the community and tourism industry. As we have manage to organize other organizations amongst our community.
We are passionate about rich heritage of our community.
Please help in monitoring the officials that are destroying the NPO'S by not fulfilling the partnership which were intended for.
Officials are failing the NPO'S
