Dear Portfolio Committee on Sport, Arts and Culture. I am writing this message on behalf of Mzamba Mouth people. Greetings, my name is Zizile Nombangwana, a 20 year old young adult who I believe experienced beyond from a very young age. I'm not certain of how things occur or how formal I'm required to be but I believe in being realistic and simple. I don't offer much to the world neither have I received what was pleasant but with a similar vision of serving a purpose. So what is it that makes my voice worth an ear? It has been ages since I longed to see change in my community when it comes to art, sports and all that. Up until today it is still the 'Dead Villlage'. I'm making a stand rising up because this is not how I would like to see the Youth perish. I seek for a chance because there's a lot instored in these people, they just need hope and I've given them hope that things will take a sharp turn. I'm tired of being told no one in this village will succeed with soccer, singing, acting nor dancing. I'm also tired of not seeing enthusiastic young people going to a talent show or a competition that is held in this axact village. There's more to these people than just baby making machines or drunkards but they just need some people to lean on. I couldn't bare the situation knowing I could put in a word for them but I have been constantly shut out. I'm not going to give up. These people need to feel whole again.
I believe you will do the right because we use our votes in hopes of something better but we haven't recieved non. I don't have a clue of what will it take till I'm heard but I won't stop up until we get what we deserve. We're part of this country too, don't shut us out because we're outdated. We are raw and need to be synthesized, bring back our hope and let not our Youth die in vain. Thank you.
Kind regards
Zizile Nombangwana
