Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,
It's with a sad heart and heavy hands that I draft this letter.
I applied for my UIF benefits in December 2021.
It's was approved in January 2022 Syaya status.
I have submitted 7 continuation of benefits. Which have all been approved.
I get SMS that my claim will be paid to my bank account.
It's states in the. U-filling platform that my claim is approved sent to paymaster and that paymaster is closed.
Yet I am still to receive even my first payment of benefits.
I don't understand why it's is take almost 500 days to pay out my claim.
I mean j would never claim this money if I didn't really need it.
In the space of waiting I have to maintain a bank account which I can't afford with hope of payment I made countless call to the call centre with no outcome or any proper feedback.
The staff just lie and make excuses.
I mean this is not how you threat people.
Please I Urge you to please assist me with the correction of this issue please.
It a very simple fix. Payment need to simple be processed. Everything is in order.Just get them to process my oayment please it's winter and the price of things is up. I need this benefits 🙏
