Dear Portfolio Committee on Small Business Development,
100 billion rand has been allocated for periods of 5 years to fund and support BBEE as a funding
My fear is that this funding it seems to be focused only to well established entities, company bailout and business rescue instead of helping down those that wants venture into business but only have IDEA yet they don't know where to go to realize their dream ,
no clear break down as to where do you go to start up
Emails are send around for enquiries the only reply you get is automatic reply Just like the very same Portfolio Committee of Small Business replies the same the way
I hereby making a proposition mainly for some of us the startup that we should have a program or center as startup that hold you by hand as Masihambisane program that breaks the barrier's chain from the IDEA right up to business establiment this be the program that open doors for the business IDEA development right up to helping with patent ,protecting it and achieve it
This is a role I think the department need to have a discussion about IDEA Center mainly for the IDEAS only and give support until the end ,than being sent around different center until you idea is copied and used by someone else
It is my view IDEAS need serious of financial support like obtain a grant instead of loan because of legal, spec's, regulations, compliance and all other related matter
The question is can the department assist with the matter above without hassle but once off just to test if Masihambisane will work help someone straight away without pillar to post ,or red tape
Future replies will be published here.
