Dear Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs,
My Mother died 1996 April.
So i need to change to my new surname.
All of her identity documents has lost, which are required by the home affairs to be filled in.
Home affairs officials told me I must go to mutuary which I did but no more records of that.
Is home affairs can't retrieve the information of the deceased from the database?
I know her, Names fully,year of birth
I don't know her date of birth.
How can I be helped?
