Dear Portfolio Committee on Correctional Services,

What efforts are being made to ensure the suitability of Lichtenburg Correctional Centre in housing inmates. Everything just seems to be broken at this facility. I was incarcerated there and was released only recently so I do know what I am talking about.

This had led to low staff morale amongst officials and an even worse impact on the rehabilitation of inmates.
