I agree with lawyer's CDH that the wording "including, but not limited to” must be removed because where would it end? You could end up with a scenario of an already well established community being removed. Who becomes liable for already mortgaged properties? Nowhere in your proposed legislation is it specific. In fact I would go as far as to suggest it is vague and ambiguous.

That's just two things I have picked up and I am sure there are a few more that others will pick up on. I'm all for redress but it must be done lawfully and fairly. Sadly that is not how it was done in the beginning before & during Apartheid a very shameful period in South Africa's history. I'm well aware of that. But, that does not mean two wrongs make a right. There are also innocent people who have bought property thinking they are also bettering their and their family's lives, only to now suddenly realise that it can all be taken away so cruelly in the same way. There has to be redress but it has to be fair.
