Dear Portfolio Committee on Small Business Development,thank you for the opportunity given to raise up the concerns for the Region G small business. Most of the small business in the region are within the informal settlement people which don't have title deeds and its difficult for them to have compliance with municipal by laws. We believe that they have to comply but what is government helping them to have that categories that will put thembin the right place. Secondly when we asking for the assistance of getting funding to government agencies such as GEP, SEFA and SEDA there's a lots of RED TAPE because they looking so many things that a growing small business dont have. We also wants to grow up especially when given the workshops to teach us how to bring in townships economy. Atleast if this agency can come and inspect the structure of the business and also give advice what is needed rather to decline the application before even checking. Lots of small business doesn't have compliance which is a concern but those who meet the requirements are not been assisted. We needs your intervention because we have been overlooked by the government we voted. Budgets are being alocated to small business but this region has never benefitef from them we don't know who receives them and how again.
