Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,

I am kindly asking for our intervention at Johannesburg Labour Court. I live at Limpopo, Dzanani but I opened my review case at Johannesburg. My case date was on the 28th of July 2021 but due to Covid 19 protocols, it was decided on paper. My problem is as follows: Mr. Nieuword Herman, was the judge of my case but he is nowhere on the list of acting judges of 2021 instead he is an advocate who is also practicing and winning cases at the same institution but i was denied justice since my case was given to a person who is no where on the system but the decision affected my life up to now.

Mr. Niewourd is practicing as an advocate who won a case at the same institution on the 01 of July 2021 but a month later he was a judge on my case.

Please look at this issue because I believe something is not right at this institution. Court is a place where justice is served but I was failed by what happened to my case. Many people are losing their cases because of injustice which is happening at Labour Court
