I write on behalf of the African Futures & Innovation program from the Pretoria office of the Institute for Security Studies. Working with AUDA-NEPAD we undertake long-term forecasts on Africa across various sectors. We are concluding an update of South Africa's development prospects to 2043 (the end of the third ten-year implementation plan of Agenda 2063), and I write to offer a presentation to the Portfolio Committee at a date and time in accordance with your schedule. The African Futures Website was launched in June 2022 by President Ramaphosa and Ms Bekele-Thomas, head of AUDA-NEPAD.
