Dear Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA), i woukd like to bring to your attention the far reaching impact collins letsoalo still has on the minds of management especially in the cape town branch. Failure to pay court orders and overextending to claimant attorneys, amongst other things. Wrt to court orders, before payment is made, a claims officer must give a picture perfect account of why we should pay the court order. This comes in the form of a payment memo which must be flawless befire it is paid. The memo can be rejected upteenth times before the acting regional general manager is now satisfied that her requirements have been met.
This takes so much time away from attending to other just as important claims. Should one receive a writ, the clains officer is blamed for imcompetence. There is a failure to take accountability and do the right thing. It is heaetbreaking to think these are the people who care but they dont.

Another gripe is that attirneys can cc the acting regional general manager in emails and talk absolute trash about them without her intervening. This is totaly demoralizing. She is ignorant about the fact that you can report attorneys for bad behaviour and unprofessionalism.

Shoulld you respond in a manner that she does not like, instead of supporting you, she will also throw you under the bus. This white afrikaner must go.
