Dear Portfolio Committee on Public Service and Administration,
Please advise on the matter mentioned in the subject line above,
It is in my understanding that Ms Dlodlo once mentioned on Umhlobo Wenene FM that every government department should not place interns on internship and let them leave end of the internship period but nothing has changed since that announcement.
I am a public management student, on internship on one of government departments but I am already aware of not getting a permanent post here, this is a matter to be looked at with urgency as letting these young kids after internship go sit at home doing nothing contributing to an increasing percentage of unemployment.
looking forward to hear from you about this matter.
