Dear Portfolio Committee on Basic Education,

There is a school construction project which started in 2015 in Hertzogville(free state),till today the project is not completed. We have as the residents of Malebogo community tried to engage with the provincial dept and the premier without any success.

The project is fully financed and we don't understand why it took the department six years + to build the school. We have only one primary school in our community which is overcrowded,this impacts adversely to the education of our children.

We plead to the parliamentary committee to intervene and establish what caused these failures and if the allocated budget was not misused. We have embarked in all sorts of protest action and are now left with no other options. Please assist and hold accountable those who have caused this abuse of public funds. Thank you.
