We would like to get some assistance with a student accommodation in bovua that has illegally connected to our meter box. The student accommodations name is Bovua student accommodation and it is based in Vereeniging, Bedworthpark. There is some correlation between Student heights and bovua student accommodation.

From August they had been going to the meter box to go and tamper with the cables. We have a video of 3 three girls going to the meter box to go and switch on something though the video is blurry.This happened for a week until they got themselves an unauthorized electrician to go and illegally connect them to our circuit breaker at night.

The boy that we had spoken to had mentioned that their lights get trapped and the gardener casually went to the meter box to go and switch on something when he noted that this student accommodation had no lights.

We reported to eskoms customer relations area manager and we were told that the area is not within eskoms supply area but the municipality. We have reported this to the Emfuleni municipality but they have chosen to not act on our grievances. We had reported to the counselor and he did not do anything. We do have proof of them just reading our messages

They had illegally connected to our circuit breaker and this resulted in our wall electricity box sparking due to too much electricity being used.


The students have no shame in going to the meter box and have no regard towards the houses affected by their actions.

The meter box is 6DP7 and it is infront of a silver gate.
