Dear Portfolio Committee on Health,

I just writing to you as one of the Community Health workers in Cape Town .
Just want to know how long it will going to take to insource Chws ,? and regulate their work. , do not see that there is something wrong on this ? , as this is a big big industry Nationally ,
but it is not regulated .
I am also waried that it also shows that women in this country are still oppressed no one speak for them. , as most of this industry is Occupied by them 98% are women , But you Government always say they.want to liberate the women ot this country ,who are always. fulnerable to Domestic. violence ,because of not participating to the Economy of this Country
3. Why did the Tast team that was set to conclude about abortion of Chws before March 2025 not done the work , Who must be liable for that and what must be done next?
4. DO not see that insourcing also limit corruption and these criminal activities like Extotions ,and tender mafias?

5. Why even Western Cape that still reflect the the time of Aparttheid , they do not adhere to any resolutions of the National Department of Health , like resolution 1 of 2018 , that deals with the persal,of Chws.? And who is responsible for making sure that DOH is one in all the provinces? Doing the same thing .

6. The sad thing is that most of Chws carry lot of duties , doing important work in the Communities but they are not recognized and they worked more than 20 years and dies with out any benefits , and these are poor black people .Working in poor communities .
6. I am just conced ,as I can see that life if normal ,as if nothing wrong is happening , We feel the pain ,and have lot of stress because of thise issues and the work that we are doing.
7. We have tried to speak with National departments of Health Nationally and provincial it is more that 10 years now , it seems our plea fall to the Deaf ears no one want to List to us and implement the Draft of Chws .
8. Our Training are not even recognized can not lead us to Colleges or universities, so there is No clear development to the Chws .
9. Why our national Govern did not implemented on what has happen I Gauteng and South Africa is not one Country?

I hope all of this application will come with a positive reply and need urgently.
