Dear Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans,
I live in a small town called Barkly West,I have helped a lot of military veterans including myself to apply for military veterans pension.The thing is that it was more than a year ago but none of us have been paid yet. The only response we got from them was that they have received our applications and are still working on them.This is frustrating because the majority of us are unemployed and struggling to make ends meet what is even is that some have passed away. I have also applied for housing but to date nothing.The housing department blames the local housing office here but here is no one in Barkly West that is working with veterans issues. I had to travel to Kimberly to get information on veterans issues Please can you help us in anyway
