Dear Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development,

Good Evening Mr President.

I have a great concern. Is there no way that the committee could relook at the measures at funerals.
We have lost 3 family.memners due to Covid because of attending funerals.
My worry is that how can funeral undertakers allow Covid deceased into a church. Should the deceased not go straight to the cemetery or crematorium.
There should be stricter rules regarding funerals.
I think that it should be explained better and in detail what should happen with Covid and Non Covid. Funerals.
Just exsample. Can Covid funeral take place with a coffin in the church or not. Or should the coffin go straight to the cemetery.
Can the funeral undertakers take all deceased to the house house the night before even if there is no viewing.
I just feel that all funeral undertakers are just doing what they want, because there are no clear guide lines regarding Covid or non Covid funerals.
Please Mr President. I plead with you, if you could address funerals in more detail. To many are passing away because of Covid. There should, with respect, be more clear rules set out to all funeral undertakers and the public should also know.
Please should you have another address with the nation, that you could spend more time on funerals and that the rules and penalties is.
