Good day Committee,
Please investigate the appalling catching of sharks along our Cape coastline specifically but not excluding our other coastlines. There was an article written by The Daily maverick, exposing the absolutely appalling catching of sharks for the so called flake and chips market in Australia. The culprits behind the catch are South African from what I understand and according to the article these criminals catch everything including juvenile species. This is a crime against our beautiful oceans and has to be stopped.
