Dear Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development,

I strongly agree with changes to the existing Expropriation Act 63 of 1975. I argue that this Bill should be adopted as an act of Parliament under the broad consideration that its adoption will have a great impact on all South Africans’ lives especially previously disadvantaged people such Africans. This will finally foster an equal opportunity and bridge a gap of an inequality we currently have in South Africa. Our economy is very screwed due this inequality. We need to stand in solidarity to fight against colonial legacy. The amendment of section 25 will assist us to at least access the land which is a strategic machenism to directly participate in our economy as Africans.
