Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour, I would like to report this company Wood South Africa who are based in midrand. They are employing engineers from Malawi and Mozambique. We want to know how did they employ Peter Walani direct from Malawi without advertising the position and what is scarce skills he had. He was unemployed in Malawi and brought to south africa within two years he was promoted to be Site Manager. The are also 5 or 6 engineers from Mozambique.

They hired a house in Mozambique Vilankolos and employed engineers in Maputo and claim they werer employed from that empty house in Vilankolos and brought them to South Africa for almost 3 years as cheap labor. We are tired o\f this company racism. Michael Senning is the operational director who seems to hate south Africans. We have highly qualified south africans who report to matric less whites as they employ and promote them. We only hear this guy is a site manager. Wickus Bester, Martin van Antwerp, Jaco Wrath, Carlos Ferreira, Marchant Cilliers. I have 31 years service with world class qualifications but i have to fight for everything and be excluded, victimized, persecuted and even be given last warnings. The company paid whites their tax refunds and refused to pay blacks. CCMA is taking now two years and the case is not heard. We need help to stop this human rights violations. Thank you Africa Maseko.
